Additional information on fees
Semester contribution A semester contribution fee of approx. 380 EUR per semester is charged. This covers the cost of the student union contribution and includes the "Semester Ticket", which covers the costs for all modes of public transport in and around the city.
Costs of living Cost of living is approx. 650 € to 750 € for a single student. This costs include a single sharing room, Public transport, Health Insurance, groceries etc. But this varies depending you requirements.

Academic admission requirements Those who have acquired a first professional qualification (Bachelor's or "Diplom", at least seven semesters or 210 CP) in the courses Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Energy Efficiency or in a subject-specific study programme will meet the entry requirement. For applicants with six-semester programmes, special bridge semesters are offered in order to obtain the required credit points.
Language requirements TOEFL Test iBT: 83 or TOEFL Test PBT and CBT: min. 70% or IELTS: 6.0 or CET-6: 6.0 (VR China only) or TOEIC: 800 or ELSA: 100 or EPT: 500

Possibility of finding part-time employment Finding a part time employment is possible once you arrive in Germany. If you speak German, then it gets easy for you. You are permitted for to work for certain number of hours e.g.20 hours/week with a valid study permit. Please check on your visa document, it is mentioned on it.
