Semester contribution There are no tuition fees at the University of Würzburg. However, you must pay the semester contribution each semester for enrolment or registration.The student contribution includes a semester ticket that allows you to use the public transportation. Student contribution: approx. 145 EUR
Costs of living Cost of living is approx. 700 € to 800 € for a single student. This costs include a single sharing room, Public transport, Health Insurance, groceries etc. But this varies depending you requirements.

Academic admission requirements The following documents need to be handed in (in English): a cover letter stating your interest and motivation (approx. one page) a CV including two references (No letter of recommendation is needed.) your BSc or higher degree certificate including a list of all courses and grades (transcripts of records, if available final copy otherwise preliminary one [If you do not have a BSc or MSc yet, please see the FAQ .]) at least 10 ECTS in remote sensing or spatial data analysis (Please list them in your CV.) at least 5 ECTS in statistics, modelling, programming or remote sensing/GIS (Please list them in your CV.) a BSc/MSc from a study programme conducted in English or a certificate of English language proficiency certificate of basic German language skills (Proof of this can be handed in one year after acceptance to the study programme.) We will review all applications, and if you are eligible to study in the EAGLE MSc programme, you will be invited for an interview (in person or online) before a final decision is made.
Language requirements A BSc/MSc from a study programme conducted in English or a certificate of English language proficiency (at least TOEFL: 72; IELTS: 6.0; HZB: 7; GER: B2 ["Abiturniveau"]) Applicants should have German language skills at the A2 level. Proof of this can be handed in one year after acceptance to the study programme. A corresponding language course is offered by the university and is recommended in any case, in order for students to gain a basic knowledge of German within the first year of the EAGLE programme.

Possibility of finding part-time employment Yes, Finding a part time employment is possible once you arrive in Germany. If you speak German, then it gets easy for you. You are permitted for 20 hours/week with a valid study permit. Please check on your visa document, ist mentioned on it.
