  • This research-based and methods-oriented program deals with the economic and agricultural policy relationships between the agricultural and food economy, the environment, and rural areas.
  • In this English-language and international Master's program funded by the DAAD, economic growth, sustainability, and social justice are central topics, especially in an international and development-related context.

  • We require good English and IT skills as well as the willingness and ability to work in intercultural teams.
  • Applicants must self-evaluate their prior knowledge of microeconomics and statistics in the AgEcon pre-test before applying.
Document Required
  • An above-average Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences or Business Administration and Economics or a related program at a university in Germany or abroad or at a university of applied sciences with a standard period of study of at least 3 years or an equivalent degree.
  • At least 6 ECTS credits in microeconomics and statistics
  • Grades and ranking in previous studies
  • Letter of recommendation from professors
  • Stay abroad lasting 3 months or longer
  • Letter of motivation
  • Additional points are given for vocational training, an intern examination, or proven two years of professional experience related to the degree program.
