  • In this respect, a particular focus of the degree programme is the mathematical understanding of the fundamentals and the application of the various AI approaches in practice.
  • In seven semesters, students thus acquire relevant professional competencies from computer science, mathematics, artificial intelligence as well as important key competencies and soft skills.
  • In addition, they learn how to deal with AI in a responsible manner. They are enabled to recognise what AI is allowed to do and what it is not allowed to do and which ethical principles must be observed.
  • Content in the area of artificial intelligence include machine learning, data science, deep learning, and computer vision.
  • Mathematical content includes statistics and numerics, among others.
  • In addition, the curriculum integrates subject-specific elective modules (FWPM) from various disciplines, such as:
  • Computer Science: Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Agile Software Development, Mobile Applications, User Experience Design, Computer Networks, Embedded Systems.
  • Engineering: Robotics, Communications Engineering, Digital Signal Processing, Process Data Engineering, Digital Integrated Circuit Design.
