Description/content |
- Artificial intelligence (AI) is the subject of the present and the future. It penetrates all areas of daily life.
- Everyone knows by now about autonomous driving and language support, of course, but there are other areas in which it may be employed, including medicine, nursing care, production and even law, to name but a few.
- AI is multifaceted, has a wide range of potential uses and requires broad knowledge for its application - this is taught in this degree programme at the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences!
Course Content-
- Companies already need graduates who can quickly and effectively implement AI techniques and technologies in real IT systems and business applications.
- In order to be able to transfer the potential of AI into practice in dialogue with the users, students of the Bachelor’s degree programme in Applied Artificial Intelligence gain sound knowledge and acquire skills in software engineering, mathematical know-how as well as comprehensive knowledge in the development of AI systems.
- In this respect, a particular focus of the degree programme is the mathematical understanding of the fundamentals and the application of the various AI approaches in practice.
- In seven semesters, students thus acquire relevant professional competencies from computer science, mathematics, artificial intelligence as well as important key competencies and soft skills.
- In addition, they learn how to deal with AI in a responsible manner. They are enabled to recognise what AI is allowed to do and what it is not allowed to do and which ethical principles must be observed.
- Content in the area of artificial intelligence include machine learning, data science, deep learning, and computer vision.
- Mathematical content includes statistics and numerics, among others.
- In addition, the curriculum integrates subject-specific elective modules (FWPM) from various disciplines, such as:
- Computer Science: Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Agile Software Development, Mobile Applications, User Experience Design, Computer Networks, Embedded Systems.
- Engineering: Robotics, Communications Engineering, Digital Signal Processing, Process Data Engineering, Digital Integrated Circuit Design.
Career opportunities
- Artificial intelligence and digitalisation are certainly among the most important technologies of the future and are the key to success on the labour market. Graduates trained in this field therefore have the best career prospects in all sectors regionally and worldwide.
- These include digital health, social affairs, building information modelling, production control and energy monitoring.
- Regional Best Place
- Especially with the proximity to Munich and also in the region around Munich, graduates of the TH Rosenheim have the best conditions for starting a career. Numerous national and international IT companies are located here.
- Career content
- Graduates of the Applied Artificial Intelligence degree programme will spend their professional lives understanding, designing and optimising the cooperation between humans and machines and developing it further.
- With their expert knowledge, skills and knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence, they will face many exciting, partly newly created job profiles on the labour market.
- They have the best career prospects in all sectors - regionally and worldwide. Particularly practically trained AI specialists are already offered the best entry and promotion opportunities on the labour market. This also includes the following job profiles and opportunities:
